Why it matters in production
A series needs a theme of its own, and a social network's music library never leaves that network. So we write a brief, as to a composer, in five sections: context (musical family, era, use), instrumental (tempo, two or three named instruments), voice (register, manner), structure (what returns, where), production (mix, mood), plus a list of exclusions. Lyrics are written in a different language from the speech balloons, so as not to compete with them. Each take is judged on its first minute, an instrumental take is kept as a fallback, and any take resembling an existing title is discarded. The commercial licence depends on the subscription active at generation time: noted for every track.
