Color grading
The final adjustment of colours, contrast and density across all shots, so that they belong to the same film.
Why it matters in production
Generated shots each come out with their own colours. Grading brings them into one palette: a warm, desaturated cast for an archive, cold contrast for an office. It happens in the edit, never in the prompt (“cinematic color grade” in a prompt produces the opposite: a generic advertising look).
